The sponsorship
program is designed for people that are unable to adopt or foster a
horse. Individuals who would like to make a difference and help with
the care of one of our rescue horses.
What
does it mean to "sponsor a horse"?
When you sponsor one of our horses
you make a commitment to send in a sponsorship amount each month (this
can be as little as $15 a month) for a period of 6 to 12 months.
We ask that sponsorship payments be sent the 1st of every month. Please
do not make more of a commitment than you can afford. Remember,
because we are non-profit, your sponsorship amount can be deducted.
What is my sponsorship
used for?
Your sponsorship amount will be used
to help with the costs of feed, farrier work, vet care, etc., whatever
daily expenses your sponsored horse requires (and any unexpected costs).
Can I choose which
horse I want to sponsor?
Yes. You can choose any one
of our horses here at the rescue. Our residents, horses that are
in need of special care until they can be adopted, even one of the
horses waiting to be adopted. Some of our horses could really use
multiple sponsors, so don't hesitate to choose a horse that already has
a sponsor. If you would like us to choose a horse for you, we
would be happy to do so.
Can I visit the horse
I sponsor?
Please do. All of our horses
love individual attention and a good brushing. Even a nice walk
with their human sponsor is appreciated. If you're not comfortable
with brushing or walking a horse, they are not above taking a treat (or
two) from you. Please remember to make an appointment
(715-505-4107) before coming for a visit.
What happens if my
sponsored horse is adopted?
You will be notified if the horse
you are sponsoring is adopted and given an opportunity to sponsor a
different horse.
How do I become a
sponsor?
You can fill out our
Sponsorship Form and send it
in along with the first month sponsorship amount.
If you have any questions about our
Sponsorship Program, you can
